Every morning I take a little time to draw quick sketches of humans I see in motion. The goal is to get a sense of energy when illustrating people. It’s to avoid “mannequin syndrome”, where characters are drawn in stiff, uninteresting poses.
Ideally I would use real people observed in the real world, but…lockdown.
